Nixon Hire stocks up with our Eco lighting towers

Nixon Hire the nationwide supplier of plant, tools, site accommodation and welfare units are increasing their fleet of lighting towers with the addition of twenty-five X-HYBRID SOLAR and two hundred X-ECO LED sets.

The company already has an extensive fleet of Trime manufactured lighting sets and these additional units will enable Nixon Hire to meet with increasing demand during the fast approaching winter months.

A spokesperson from Nixon Hire said, “Every year MHM Plant support Nixon Hire with additional tower lights to complement our own fleet of tower lights and solar products. As a business we purchase Trime lights so with MHM using the same lighting towers this is a perfect fit for our business.”

“MHM Plant are our go to supplier for all consignment stock lighting towers and as soon as they informed us about their solar lights, it made perfect sense to create a partnership, using these as an additional renewable product to go along wide our own fleet of solar products,” added Nixon Hire.

The X-ECO LED has a number of environmental qualities and safety aspects. The set is fitted with the AMOSS safety system, which automatically lowers the mast if the lighting set is moved whilst the mast is still erected. The complete unit features an external emergency stop button, a fully bunded fuel tank, four height adjustable stabilisers and site levels for guidance during deployment. The energy saving LED lamps will work for up to 50000 hours without replacement.

The X-HYBRID SOLAR lighting units are powered through an individually designed hybrid power supply system. This comprises of a solar panel connected to rechargeable batteries backed-up by a small diesel engine. The combined system substantially lowers fuel usage with a corresponding reduction of CO2 emissions.

All Nixon Hire equipment is available to hire nationwide.
